Overview

The RO-Bank, officially the Roberts Bank of Saving and Trust, is a bank heist with an average completion time and decent payout. Players are tasked to find two keycards to open a time-locked vault and steal the money inside the deposit boxes in the vault.

Jade's Plan

"Alright, I've got another bank hit for you guys. This one's out in a small town located outside the city. Looks like a pretty quiet bank, which makes this a perfect target for us. There are two ways you can approach this.

The smart way: Take care of cameras and guards. Look for two keycards and use them to activate the vault's time lock. Wait for the timer to run down, get inside, get rich.

The forceful way: This one involves a couple more steps. You'll drill through the door and get the cash. The van will likely book it after the alarm sounds, so I'll call in a pilot to help carry the stuff out of there. You'll assemble a cage on the roof, put the bags in, and send up a balloon for the plane to grab. After you send the cash away, you can make your escape. I've got an alternate escape arranged should things go this way."

Walkthrough

Stealth

Stealth involves finding two keycards and using them on the 5-minute timelock to gain access to the vault. While waiting for the timelock, random callers will call the bank every minute, generating a random interaction between Jade and the caller. You will have to answer around 3-4 calls before the vault opens.

1. Go to the back of the bank.
2. Open the fuse box and cut the wiring inside. This will disable the cameras.
3. Eliminate the back parking lot security guard. If they possess a keycard, you can Halt the guard as another way to collect the guard's keycard. Remember on Extreme and above, after you Halt the guard, you are required to answer a pager.
4. Eliminate/Hostage the bank's security guards while also dealing with any civilians, primarily the tellers.
5. Locate two keycards. They can be worn by the manager, in the back parking lot, on the table at the front of the bank, near the van, near the safe or worn by guards.
6. Input both keycards in the two keycard slots.
7. While waiting for the timelock to hit 0, keep an eye on the telephone. Put Jade through to it whenever there is a caller calling the bank.
8. Once the timelock is done, the vault will be ready to loot and calls will stop coming in. To open the deposit boxes, you either could pick the locks or use a SAW which is much more recommended.
9. Empty the vault and take the money to the van.
10. Secure at least 12/10/8/6/4/2 bags and escape.

Loud

Loud involves the use of a drill, pilot and the sewage system. It is typically much longer in duration than stealth.

1. Enter the bank.
2. Set up the drill.
3. When the drill is done, Jade calls in Goose (the helicopter pilot, in this case, the plane pilot) to drop 3 cage parts in 1 of 2 locations—on the road in front of the bank, or in the back parking lot—which players will then have to assemble on the roof.
4. Empty the vault and take the money to the cage on the roof.
5. Once you are ready, signal Goose by raising the balloon.
6. Wait for Goose to collect the cage. Any bags currently in the cage, when Goose collects them, will be secured.
7. Open the marked manhole and enter it.
8. Navigate through the maze until you have found the van.
9. Secure at least 12/10/8/6/4/2 bags and escape.

Tips

Stealth

When trying to stealth, try to dominate the map slowly section by section so that way you don’t mess up and leave a civilian or guard who raises the alarm. You can always see the top right corner of the screen to see how many people you hostage. Prioritize disabling the Cameras.

Skills & Equipment

• Getting the aced Cable Guy skill will easily deal with civilians on the map, since there are only 6 of them and you will have 6 cable ties.
• If you want to quickly open the deposit boxes, bringing the SAW is a good idea. You can also open the ATM in the shop as well with the Saw.
• ECM jammers can be used to rush through the Heist.

Environment

• Climbing up the ladder to the roof of the bank will give you quick access to the power box for the cameras. Simply just hide on either side of the power box to hide from the parking lot guard or civilians.
  • Cutting the wire takes less than a second, so you don't need to worry about civilians or guards seeing you.
• You can wait for guards and civilians to go to the back of the bank so you don't have to alert everyone when you hostage civilians and kill guards.

Enemies

• There are only 3 guards, so you can kill them all without the pager operator suspecting you.

Environment

• One possible strategy to secure all bags during loud is to pick up a cage part and throw all bags in the marked area before assembling it, saving time that would otherwise be needed to bring the rest to the van if the balloon is lifted early.

Bugs

• If the heist goes loud after the vault opens, the heist becomes impossible to complete.
• If a Heist gets completed in stealth, and when the Heist Completed menu shows up, the van will drive away just like in loud. The quotes from loud will also appear. (The stealth bonus will stay.)
• [Patched] The phone sometimes goes unanswerable and the heist becomes impossible to be completed in stealth.

Trivia

• It is the first map to be revamped in the Notoriety Revamp update.
• It is based on the GO-Bank map from Payday 2 and the Counter-Strike series. This map is also deleted in CS:GO due its really bad map design and its popularity.
• When you spawn, you can see the gas station sign. You can find the map creators' names there.
• There will be a safe available for players to drill through in the small room located on the right side of the car workshop. Inside it will be either 3 loose cash, 4 silver bars, 3 silver rings, or nothing at all.
• Inside the vault, there will always be 1 money bag in each deposit box and 2 cash on the floor.
• RO-Bank Nightmare is a great farming map as it is easy to stealth and you could earn quite a lot. It also rewards a lot of XP. This is very useful for getting back on track from Infamy.
• This is the first bank heist in which keycards can be used to open up the vault, instead of having to drill through it, unlike R&B Bank, Brick Bank and Downtown Bank.
• There is a sign in Haunted Forest near the carriage that points to RO-Bank. Unsurprisingly, you are unable to go to RO-Bank.
• This map can be considered the easiest stealth mission due to low number of guards and civilians, and the cameras can be easily disabled, while also being one of the hardest loud missions as there is not much cover and objectives leave you exposed most of the time to hoards of enemies.
• While waiting for the vault timelock in stealth, there are weird mechanics involving the phone, such as being frozen when it rings just as the vault opens, & if you answer a call that is longer than the time left on the timelock, the vault won't open until the call is finished.
• During a loud heist, if a player carrying a piece of the cage disconnects, then a random player automatically gets that player's piece of the cage.
